If you are new to this hobby or returning to the hobby after an extended break, then take advantage of this promotional offer of free Affiliation fees with Model Flying New Zealand (MFNZ) and heavily discounted TMAC club fees valid for the first year of your membership. It is even better if you are a junior member where the MFNZ Affiliation fee is free until you reach the age of 26 years.
Joining the Club
If you wish to join the club, please download both the following application papers, complete and send to the Secretary, or give to a committee member. If you are already a member of MFNZ, you only need to complete the TMAC form, but please let us know your MFNZ number.

Notes:
- Junior members are classified as anyone under 26 years of age.
- Senior members are adults aged 26 years and over.
- Family membership covers one senior member and one partner (any related children are free, as per the Junior policy).
- Associate members are those affiliated with MFNZ through another club but who wish to use TMAC facilities.
- The MFNZ affiliation fee includes quarterly copies of Model Flying World magazine and third-party indemnity insurance cover. Affiliation with MFNZ is compulsory.
- New Member Promotion refers to either:
- A person who is new to the hobby and joining a club for the first time; or
- A person returning to the hobby after being inactive and not a financial member of any model club or MFNZ for three or more years.
- Our membership year starts on 1 March, with payment required by 1 April (allowing a one-month grace period). Members joining partway through the year receive a 50% discount on TMAC fees if joining after 1 October.
